LITHE stems from Old English ‘lithe’, meaning gentle, flexible, and strong-qualities central to holistic wellbeing.

The LITHE concept—Living Intentionally Through Holistic Embodiment—was born from the genuine friendship and shared passion of two individuals who have each navigated their own health journeys. Their collective experiences, combined expertise, shaped by real-life struggles and successes, inspired them to create a method where health and well-being are approached with integrity and transparency.

LITHE is more than just a wellness method; it’s a movement toward building awareness and making informed decisions across all aspects of life—nutrition, movement, lifestyle, and supplementation. We offer guidance in Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM), an approach that integrates the best available evidence with the patient's preferences and the clinician's expertise. Grounded in clinical expertise and core human values—authenticity, transparency, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey—we are committed to creating a space free from confusion and noise. In an age dominated by online influence, we understand the weight of commercial misinformation in the wellness industry and strive to provide clarity and trust.

Meet the Team

  • Co-Founder / Movement Specialist

Her passion for movement began in musical theater, where she performed across London, Scotland, and South America. This experience ignited a deeper awareness of the body, leading her to explore holistic movement practices such as Pilates. With certifications in Mat, Reformer, Personal Training, Pre/Post Natal, and Injury Therapy, Kirsten has become a highly skilled movement specialist.

After years of being told nothing was wrong, she finally discovered she was living with Hashimoto’s autoimmune condition, a diagnosis that came through the expertise of a functional health practitioner. Thanks to a holistic approach that combined proper diagnosis, lifestyle changes, and supplementation, functional medicine has dramatically transformed her life.

Now, as a co-founder of LITHE, Kirsten channels her personal health journey and her expertise to help others achieve balance in functional movement and wellness.

  • Co- Founder / Nutritional Therapist and Functional Medicine Practitioner (ION/ IFM/ in training)

Hania's passion for health and well-being stems from her personal journey through a complex web of unexplained symptoms and misdiagnoses.

Frustrated by conventional approaches, she turned to her own research and functional medicine. She uncovered the root causes of her health challenges such as: hormonal imbalances ‘PCOS’, HPA axis dysfunction, gut dysbiosis and mold toxicity which 'saved her life'.

In 2020, Hania began her studies at the ION, deepening her expertise in functional nutrition and medicine. She recognises that true healing is not a one-size-fits-all process, but a blend of personalised, evidence-based care addressing many interconnected factors.

Her journey inspired the creation of LITHE—a community-focused, research-driven approach to health. Hania is dedicated to empowering others to navigate their unique paths to well-being. She deeply believes that her personal health journey was her destiny to make her a knowledgeable practitioner who can empathise with others on a deeper level.

  • Functional medicine is a patient-centered, holistic approach to healthcare that seeks to address the root causes of disease, rather than just treating symptoms. It is based on the idea that every individual is biochemically unique and that health issues arise from an interplay of genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors. Functional medicine takes a systems-biology approach, viewing the body as an interconnected whole, and focuses on finding and addressing the underlying imbalances or dysfunctions that contribute to illness.

This includes; comprehensive assessment, laboratory testing, diet and nutrition, lifestyle modifications, targeted supplements and detoxification. Functional medicine can support a wide range of health conditions such as, chronic inflammation, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, autoimmune conditions and mental health.

  • Functional nutrition emphasises balance, whole, unprocessed, nutrient- dense natural foods. It focuses on health from the inside out, helping people achieve a healthier, more mindful relationship with food.

  • Holistic movement refers to an approach to physical activity that considers the entire body, mind, and spirit, focusing on alignment, balance, flexibility, strength, and overall well-being. It's about moving in ways that promote health, prevent injury, and nurture a connection between physical movement and mental awareness. Holistic movement encourages mindful, intentional motion, often integrating principles of body awareness, breathwork, and alignment. It's a lifestyle choice that prioritises the full spectrum of health—physical, mental, and emotional.
